There’s nothing like scoring a home run first thing in the morning with this smoothie. Not only does it get a few servings of veggies in, but its also packed with protein to help maintain your metabolism.
This recipe is a round about type. I like to switch up my greens, so some mornings might be with spinach, others may be kale. Keep your options open!
Gut Healthy Green Monster: makes 2 servings
- 1/2 bone broth
- 1 cup of greens (spinach, kale, etc)
- 1 carrot
- 1 celery stalk
- 1 banana
- 1 orange (peel 3/4 of the orange, but leave some rind on)
- 1/2 apple
- 1 TBS flax seed
- 1 TBS hemp hearts
- 2 TBS collagen powder
